Here are some shots of Stockholm's City Hall, Stadshuset. The Nobel Banquet is held in the blue room (hint: it's the brick room, the plan was to paint it blue, but the architect thought the brick was too pretty to cover). And the dance following the banquet is held in the Gold Room. Just like in the states the City Council is composed of part-time legislators who have day jobs. City Council meetings are held in the evenings. Our guide said it's popular (and free) to get married here. You can choose between the long three minute service or the quick 30 second one!
